ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS WE GET ASKED THE MOST. What various MagSafe loads are designed to do DEFENDER Loads are the all-around choice for everyday use. When in doubt, sell these to your customers. SWAT Loads for handguns have reduced wall penetration. Our .38 Spec., .357 Magnum, 9mm & .44 caliber SWAT Loads have pellet cores and break up in sheetrock walls. The .40 S&W and .45 ACP SWAT Loads have epoxy-only cores, and may not break up in walls. However, their light weight (and low recoil) offer less wall penetration than standard ammo. MAX Loads are maximum-effort loads which have high pressures to go with high performance. If you have any doubts about a customer's gun's strength, don't sell him Max Loads. The 9mm STEALTH Load is the best all-around choice in this caliber. It is very effective. Functions ANY gun. The NEW (Jan. We test MagSafe by shooting through intermediate barriers: up to 12 layers of Levi material; many layers of T-shirt material; through leather cowboy boots, clipboards, cigarette packs, wallets, credit cards, tennis shoes and anything else an attacker might be wearing. You can't wear enough clothing to stop a MagSafe round. 4) No, there is no "shelf life" for MagSafe Ammo. You don't have to shoot it up every three months. It's good for years. 5) No, MagSafe won't hit a wall and go "splat" and drop to the floor. To be very lethal, ammo needs some penetration. 6) No, our ammo has never been challenged in court as "too deadly." It IS safety ammo, after all. 7) For greater safety and less wear on customer's guns, we now use .38 Special +P nickel brass for the .38 MAX, & Triton's .45 Super brass for the .45 MAX and .45 Super SWAT Loads. Glock 45s have huge throats; be careful. BACK TO TOP |
